Open Studio Hours for last minute holiday shoppers!

•December 7, 2017 • Leave a Comment

I am opening my studio space for last minute holiday shopping! Having recently been featured in the Star Tribune Magazine… is the perfect time to meet some new glass loving friends! I will be open this Saturday morning, December 9th from 9:30am till 12:30pm (just after noon) and also Monday evening, December 18th from 5:30pm till 8:30pm. If you are in search of my glasses, all of them are located at Minnesota Makers in Robbinsdale. I have a large supply of hand blown glass ornaments and a limited supply of paperweights. I still have plenty of fantastic vases and bowls to adorn your household surfaces.

A slight change in direction….

Many of you may have noticed a lull in my posts lately. I have decided to fire myself as boss of my own business. Making art for a successful living is very taxing on my body and my relationships. No one is made to work as many hours as I have been and as a result, I have decided to take things back a notch. I will still be supplying my usual gift shops and will participate in Art a Whirl and a few other open studio events….and perhaps one holiday show. Thanks for all your support and I hope to see your smiling faces at the few events that I will continue to participate in.535259_10154221140816844_8426330704381792675_n

Summer Show Schedule!!!

•May 30, 2016 • Leave a Comment

Hey y’all!  I’m looking forward to a busy June, travelling in July, and a slightly lighter August and September.  Here is my official show schedule for the summer!

57th Street Art Fair – Chicago, IL.  June 4 – 11am-7pm, June 5 – 10am-5pm, Booth #609.  This well known art fair is entering it’s 69th year and I am very honored that I was selected to participate.  Not many of my Minneapolis peeps will be able to visit…..but Chicago friends….I expect to see your smiling faces 🙂  For more info, visit 57th Street Art Fair Main Site

The Stone Arch Bridge Festival – Minneapolis, MN. June 17 – Noon-8pm, June 18 – 11am-8pm, June 19 – 11am-5pm, Booth #31 located right near Hennepin Ave.  This show is entering it’s 22nd year and has expanded into a 3 day festival this year.  I’m very lucky to have a prime booth location right near Hennepin Ave and am looking forward to a beautiful Father’s day weekend at work.  For more info, please visit Stone Arch Bridge Festival

Wayzata Art Experience – Wayzata, MN. June 25 – 10am-6pm, June 26 – 10am-4pm, Booth #17.  This is one of my favorite shows.  It is located right on the lake and about 50 feet from a set of busy railroad tracks.  Every year we have sun….lots of sun….and damaging winds and thunderstorms.  It’s been an exciting one due to it’s location but the organizers are some of the best!  This will be my third year participating in the WAE.  Here’s a link for more info!  Wayzata Art Experience

Art on the Rockies –  Vail, CO. July 8 – 10am-5pm, July 9 – 10am-5pm, July 10 – 10am-5pm, Booth 66.  Last year, I took myself on a business trip and did my first art fair in Colorado.  32 hours in the car alone made me a different person and I realized how badly I need to travel with Ellie, my faithful steed of an art fair car.  I feel very honored to be selected in this prestigious show and am so very grateful for the opportunity to travel for work.  If you find yourself skiing in glorious Vail this summer, come visit!  Art on the Rockies 2016

Highland Fest – St. Paul, MN. July 16 – 10am-6pm, July 17 – 10am-5pm, Booth #tbd.  Why?  This friendly neighborhood festival has always proven to be a ton of fun and the organizers are great.  It’s not always about fine art….sometimes it’s about participating in a fun family event in a great community.  Having won an award at Highland Fest last year, I am sincerely looking forward to it again.  For more info, visit Highland Fest 2016

Powderhorn Art Fair – Minneapolis, MN. August 6 – 10am-6pm, August 7 – 10am-5pm, Booth #79.  Located in Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis, this is a beautiful show on the lake.  I look forward to it every year and will be well rested from a busy June and July.  Come see me!  Powderhorn Art Fair 2016

Art Fair on the Square – Lake Forest, IL. September 4 – 10am-5pm, September 5 – 10am-5pm. Booth #tbd.  This show is in it’s 62nd year of existence and I am very lucky to be a part of it.  Labor day will indeed be laborious….but I’m ok with that!  Again….I expect to see all my Chicago peeps here.  Art Fair on the Square 2016

I’m sincerely looking forward to a busy summer and cannot wait to start loading Ellie, the aforementioned faithful steed.  Come visit me at any of these mighty fine events if you get a chance.
